Levis Commons http://www.leviscommons.com Mon, 07 May 2012 17:06:29 +0000 en hourly 1 http://wordpress.org/?v=3.2 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer – this Saturday! http://www.leviscommons.com/making-strides-against-breast-cancer-this-saturday/ http://www.leviscommons.com/making-strides-against-breast-cancer-this-saturday/#comments Mon, 07 May 2012 17:06:29 +0000 admin http://www.leviscommons.com/?p=553 The Town Center at Levis Commons is excited to host the sixth annual Northwest Ohio Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5K Walk.  Last year the walk drew over 4,000 walkers and raised over $107,000 to support life-saving cancer research across the country.  These funds support the vital programs that fight breast cancer on four fronts: research, education, advocacy, and patient services.  The goal for 2012 is 6,000 walkers and $135,000.

The non-competitive walk will take place at The Town Center on Saturday, May 12th.  Registration will begin at 8:30a.m. with the walk to begin at 9:30 a.m.  The route will include three one mile laps taking participants past the clock tower to OI and back.
